Photoshop question

Can anyone tell me how to add an outline to text in Photoshop? Meaning that I want add a caption to a picture and I want the letters in my caption to have contasting outlines. How do I do that?

I have Photoshop C2.

You see at the bottom of the layers palette, you have little icons.. I can't remember if CS has it, but look for fx and select stroke. Failing that, rasterize the text, select it, and from the main menu items go Edit>Stroke.
