Hey, everyone!
Today I've added some LOTR movie books to my selling page. These are all in brand new condition. I bought them, put them on my shelf, and they've been there ever since. I don't think I even opened some of them!
The prices vary from $20 (for a big hardback) to $8.50. Please take a look and see if any of them would go well in your collections. They're over here. And please let others know about my sale too. I really need the exposure, thanks!
I'll be adding more stuff tomorrow!

Date: Thursday, April 3rd, 2014 01:14 pm (UTC)Hi again! Happy spring (at long last!) ! Hope you had a pleasant (as much as possible :-) ) winter...
I'm delighted to be able to help out again, especially since you are offering some books that -- had I actually been into the LOTR fandom before early 2007 -- I would already have found irresistible and they'd already be in my bookcase! As it was, I couldn't find these books anywhere by then, and have been hoping to run across them.
BOOKS
So here's my book list -- five of them. :-D Specifically...
* the 3 individual movie visual companion books
* the visual companion for the entire trilogy, and
* the "Making of the Movie Trilogy"
ALSO:
DOUJINSHI / Fan Art
* #2 - Frodo in the foreground/Sam in the background in the field (with Happy Birthday, Frodo! in very light print); and,
Frodo and Bilbo looking at - a map of the Shire perhaps?
* #8 - The "Welcome to Bag End" Pippin-Frodo -- Sam-Merry drawing...unless that already went to gardner_hill? The pictures and the numbers aren't quite lining up sensibly on my screen, so I'm not sure. If you still have it, though, I am interested!
* #20 Hobbits on a Table 1, and Hobbits on a Table 2. Cheers! for sure!
* #? - I don't think it has a number, but it's right after item #27 so I assume it's 28?: the set of 6 postcards, "2004". I'm giggling just looking at the cover image; I know the rest will be just as delightful. (Aragorn's expression! :-) )
OSCAR ADS
These are all gorgeous. I want a lot of them, of course...but for now I'll go for:
* #7 - Peter with Elijah
* #24 - Peter with Sean
Well, I had better stop for now. :-D I have to be away from my computer all day, but will check back tomorrow ASAP. Looking forward to hearing from you!
(btw, I've worn the lovely Fellowship pin twice, to appreciative comments -- one time for a Mardi Gras party, as part of a sort-of LOTR-related costume that I will have to describe for you, when I'm not already overflowing the LJ comment buffer here... :-) )
Have a great day !

Date: Thursday, April 3rd, 2014 05:32 pm (UTC)Oh my, thank you so much! I'll take a look and add this up, and let you know later today what the total is. This will be a pretty heavy package, so please let me know how you'd like it to be sent. Media Mail might take longer, but would be significantly cheaper than Priority First Class.
Now the bad news: I feel really foolish, but the "Cheers" doujinshi did go at holiday time, along with one other doujinshi, to
Also, I'm afraid the postcards got spoken for last night by

Date: Friday, April 4th, 2014 05:49 pm (UTC)Okay, the total for the items will be $132.50. That's $12.50 each for the books. The 2 doujinshi are $10 and $20. And the Oscar ads are $15 and $25, since they're the last I have of each. Shipping would be $24.77 by Standard Post. (Priority Mail, which is the only other option, would be over $80, so I think no.) I'll put the Oscar Ads in a cardboard tube and include it with the books, as one of them is bigger than the books, and it would be the only safe way to send it. (Unless it was sent in a separate package. If you want me to do that, let me know.)
So the total is $157.27. Can you PM me with your mailing address? For some reason, I can't seem to find it. :)
