That's so beautiful. How can I get a copy of that and the other one you did of him on the swing? I tried saving them, but can't get them. My image viewer says it can't handle that kind of image.

Well, they're both .jpg files, so if your image viewer can't handle them, I'd say your viewer isn't working.

As to how to get them, just right-click and hit "save image as..." or whatever the browser you're using says. That's really the easiest way to pick them up. Going to Photobucket won't make a difference if your viewer program won't view them.

Yep, did that, and when I did, this is what showed up in the title line: upa. I saved it as a jpg file and it still won't work. I tried saving pics from other sources and it's fine. It's only when I try to save them from your lj that I can't do it.

Can't figure it out, because I can save any gif, jpg or png file to my hard drive. Some joker in the universe doesn't want me to have Josh's pictures.

"upa" is the title of the picture, so if the title is all you're getting and not the file extension, then yeah, your browser has a real problem, because that's supposed to me automatic, and the fact that you've downloaded other pics without the hassle tells me there's a very strange problem going on with your browser's saving habits. Regardless, add .jpg to the file wherever you saved it and it should work.

So your browser will add the file extensions to every picture file on the web except mine? That is seriously fucking weird. Have you tried saving other pictures on the same page? Try to save addie71's userpic above, just to see if your browser is having a problem with the page or with Photobucket. (Though why it would have a problem with Photobucket, I don't know, since it's just another photo hosting site.)

One more thing: If your browser is crapping out on adding the file extensions, then make a habit of checking to be sure the file extension is there when you save the picture. If you have to add it yourself, then do so. My pics are always .jpg files (unless they're moving .gif files), so just be sure ".jpg" is there whenever you try to download my pics. :)
