LOL.

I just downloaded an episode of the new season of Hawaii Five-O, just to see how it holds up now. HA. Amazing how much interest I did not have in it. Seriously, it took me maybe six minutes to decide, "Nope. Bored. Good-bye."

Wow, I don't think my fandom interest has ever plummeted that violently. That whole ridiculous kerfuffle just flat out BURNED that guy out of my brain. Pity. He did have his moments. Maybe I'll be able to watch Moonlight again if I give it a couple of years. Long enough to wash the taste of that fish-flavored coffee out of my mouth, at any rate. ;)



Still glad I wrote those ficlets, though. It's too bad I never got to the third in the trilogy, Leechman. It was going to be about a heart surgeon. Oh well, perhaps it'll come through someday

I really looked forward to the remake of Hawaii Five-O because I loved Moonlight and I was a fan of Alex and of Grace Park, but I was so disappointed in the show. I didn't see any chemistry between Alex and what's his name, and Grace Park was just wasted. I haven't watched it since the second episode aired, so I don't know anything about what's going on.

To tell the truth, I think Scott Caan is one of the best things about the show. I find him funny and rather sweet. Certainly his character - a cop who actually knows how to be a cop - is preferable to Alex's. Christ, the last thing this country needs right now as a hero is some egotistical ex-military shithead who thinks he's ALWAYS RIGHT DAMMIT and runs roughshod over everyone in his path when he's got a bug up his as. Yeah, no, LOL. This sort of propaganda, we don't need. I was kinda hoping the last year might have gotten that into the producers' thick heads, but I just don't have the impetus to find out anymore, *sigh*. (After all these horrible events, if I were them, I'd've started out the season hauling the guy up before the police commissioner and raking him over the coals about all the lawsuits and injuries and carnage he keeps leaving in his wake.)
